Dua Start Of Ablution (Wudu)

.بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ

Transliteration: Bismillahi walhamdu lillahi.

Translation: I begin with the name of Allah and all praises are due to Allah.

Dua To Recite Between Ablution (Wudu)

Transliteration: Allahummagh fir-lee zambi wa wass’i lee fi dari wa barik-li fi rizqi.

Translation: Oh Allah, forgive my sins, expand my home for me, and bless my livelihood.

Dua Completion Of Ablution (Wudu)

Transliteration: Ash-hadu alla-ilaha illallahu wahdahu la shareeka lahu wa ash-hadu anna muhammadan abduhu wa rasooluhu, Allahummaj-alni minat-tawwabina wa ja’alni minal mutatahhireen 

Translation: I bear witness that none has the right to be worshipped except Allah, alone without partner, and I bear witness that Muhammad (Pbuh) is His slave and Messenger, O Allah, make me among those who turn to You in repentance, and make me among those who are purified.

Dua After Hearing Adhan

Transliteration: Allahumma rabba hazihid da’watit taammah wassalatil qa’imah, aati Muhammadanil waseelata walfazeelah, wab’asuhu maqamam mahmoodanil lazee wa’adtah, innaka laa tukhliful mee’aad.

Translation: O Allah , Lord of this perfect call and established prayer. Grant Muhammad the intercession and favor, and raise him to the honored station You have promised him, [verily You do not neglect promises].

Dua Before Entering the Mosque

Transliteration: Bismillahi wassalatu wassalamu alaa rasoolillah, allahum-maftah lee abwaba rahmatik.

Translation: In the Name of Allah, and peace and blessings be upon the Messenger of Allah, O Allah, open the doors of mercy. (Muslim)

Dua After Salah

.بِسْمِ اللهِ الذِيْ لا إلٰهَ إِلا هُوَ الرّحْمٰنُ الرحِيم , اللهُم أَذْهِبْ عَني الْهَم وَالحُزْن

Transliteration: Bismillahillazi la-ilaha illa huwar rahmanur-raheem, allahumma Azhib annil hamma wal huzn.

Translation: In the name of Allah, besides whom there is none worthy of worship, The most Gracious, The most Merciful. O Allah! Remove from me worry and depression.

Dua For Janazah

Allahummaghfir li hayyinaa wa mayyitina wa shahidina wa gha’ibina wa sagheerina wa kabeerina wa zakarina wa unsana. Allahumma man ahyaytahu minna fa’ahyihi ‘alal islam wa man tawaffaitahu minna fatawaffahu ‘alal iman.

O Allah forgive our living and our deceased. And our present and the absent and our young, and our old and our male and females. O Allah whoever You keep alive of us keep him alive upon Islam, and whoever of us you cause to die let him die in state of iman.

Dua For Leaving Mosque

Transliteration: Bismillahi wassalatu wassalamu alaa rasoolillah, allahumma inni as’aluka min fazlik.

Translation: In the Name of Allah, and peace and blessings be upon the Messenger of Allah. O Allah, I ask for Your favour, O Allah, verily I seek from You, Your bounty.

Dua Before Eating Food

.بِسْمِ اللهِ وَعَلَى بَرَكَةِ اللهِ

Transliteration: Bismillahi wa’ala barakatillah.

Translation: In the name of Allah and with blessing of Allah I begin (eating).

Dua When Forget To Recite Dua Before Eating

.بِسْمِ اللَّهِ أَوَّلَهُ وَآخِرَةً

Transliteration: Bismillahi awwalahu wa aakhirahu.

Translation: In the name of Allah at the beginning and at the end.

Dua After Eating Food

Transliteration: Alhamdulillahil lazee at’amana wa saqana wa ja’alana minal muslimeen.

Translation: Praise be to Allah who has fed us and given us drink and made us Muslims.

Dua When You Eat Someone’s House

Transliteration: Allahumma at’im man at’amani wasqi man saqani.

Translation: O Allah feed who fed me and give drink to them who gave me to drink. (Muslim)

Dua For Drinking Milk

.اللَّهُمَّ بَارِكْ لَنَا فِيهِ وَزِدْنَا مِنْهُ

Transliteration: Allahumma barik lana fihee wazidna minhu.

Translation: O Allah, bless it for us and give us more of it.

Dua For Drinking water 

.الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي سَقَانَا عَذْبًا فُرَاتًا بِرَحْمَتِهِ وَلَمْ يَجْعَلُه مِلْحًا أَجَاجًا بِذُنُوبِنَا

Transliteration: Alhamdulillahil lazee saqana azban furatam bi-rahmatihi wa lam yaj’alhu milhan ujajam bi-zunubina.

Translation: All praise is due to Allah, Who of his mercy has granted us sweet and pleasant water to drink and did not make it bitter and salty due to our sins.

Dua Before Breaking The Fast

.اَللَّهُمَّ لَكَ صُمَتْ وَبِكَ آمَنْتُ وَعَلَيْكَ تَوَكَّلْتُ وَعَلَى رِزْقِكَ أَقْطَرت

Allahumma laka sumtu wa bika aamantu wa alayka tawakkaltu wa ala rizqika aftartu.

O Allah! I fasted for You and I believe in You and I put my trust in You and I break my fast with Your sustenance.

Dua After Breaking The Fast

.ذَهَبَ الظَّمَا وَابْتَلَّتِ الْعُرُوقُ وَثَبَتَ الْأَجْرُ إِنْ شَاءَ الله

Zahabaz zama’u wabtallatil urooqu wa sabatal ajru inshallah.

Thirst has gone, the arteries are moist, and the reward is sure if Allah wills.

Dua Before Sleeping

.اللَّهُمَّ بِاسْـمِكَ أَمُوتُ وَأَحْيَا

Transliteration: Allahumma bismika amutu wa ahya.

Translation: In Your name O Allah, I live and die.

.بِاسْمِكَ رَبِّي وَضَعْتُ جَنْبِي وَبِكَ أَرْفَعُهُ فَإِنْ أَمْسَكْتَ نَفْسِي فَارْحَمْهَا، وَإِنْ أَرْسَلْتَهَا فَاحْفَظْهَا، بِمَا تَحْفَظُ بِهِ عِبَادَكَ الصَّالِحِينَ

Transliteration: Bismika rabbi waza’tu jambi wa bika arfa’ahu fa’in amsakta nafsi farhamha wa in arsaltaha fahfazha bima tahfaz bihi ibadakas saliheen.

Translation: In Your name my Lord, I lie down and in Your name I rise, so if You should take my soul then have mercy upon it, and if You should return my soul then protect it in the manner You do so with Your righteous servants.

Dua For Waking Up

Transliteration: Alhamdulillahil lazee ahyana ba’da ma amatana wa ilayhin nushoor.

Translation: All praise is for Allah who gave us life after having taken it from us and unto Him is the resurrection.

Recite This Dua If You Can’t Sleep

.اعُوذُ بِكَلِمَاتِ اللهِ التَّامَّةِ مِنْ غَضَبِهِ وَعِقَابِهِ وَشَرِّ عِبَادِهِ وَمِنْ هَمَزَاتِ الشَّيْطِينِ وَأَنْ يَحْضُرُونَ

Transliteration: A’uzu bikalimatil-lahit tammati min ghazabihi wa iqabihi wa sharri ibadihi wa min hamazatish shayateeni wa ayyahzuroon

Translation: I seek refuge with the complete words of Allah from His anger and His punishment and the evil of His slaves, and from the evil suggestions of the shayatin and from their being present (at death).

Dua When Having Bad Dreams

.اعُوْذُ بِاللهِ مِنَ الشَّيْطَنِ وَشَرهذِهِ الرُّؤْيَا

Transliteration: A’uzu billahi minash-shaitani wa sharri hazihir ro’uya.

Translation: I seek refuge in Allah from Satan and the evil of this vision.

Dua Before Entering Washroom

.بِسْمِ اللَّهِ، اللَّهُـمَّ إِنِّي أَعُـوذُ بِـكَ مِـنَ الْخُـبْثِ وَالْخَبَائِثِ

Transliteration: Bismillahi allahumma inni a’uzu bika minal khubsi wal khaba’is

Translation: In the name of Allah, O Allah I take refuge with you from all evil and evil doers.

Dua After Leaving The Washroom 

.غُفْرَانَکَ ، اَلْحَمْدُ لِلّٰهِ الَّذِيْ أَذْهَبَ عَنِّي الأَذَىٰ وَعَافَانِي

Transliteration: Gufranaka, alhamdulilla-hil lazee azhaba annil aza wa aafani.

Translation: I ask you (Allah) for forgivnes, all praises to Allah who has taken away my discomfort and granted me relief.

Dua Before Leaving Home

.بِسْمِ اللَّهِ تَوَكَّلْتُ عَلَى اللّٰہِ لَا حَوْلَ وَ لَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللّٰہِ

Transliteration: Bismillahi tawakkaltu alallahi wa la hawla wala quwwata illa billah.

Translation: I (Leave) in the name of Allah, I depend on Allah, and we do not have any power to do good deeds or to avoid evill deeds except with the help of Allah.

Dua Before Entering Home 

.اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ خَيْرَ الْمَوْلِجِ وَخَيْرَ الْمَخْرَجِ بِسْمِ اللَّهِ وَلَجْنَا وَبِسْمِ اللَّهِ خَرَجْنَا وَعَلَى اللَّهِ رَبِّنَا تَوَكَّلْنَا

Transliteration: Allahumma inni as’aluka khairal maulaji wa khairal makhraji, bismillahi walajna wa bismillahi kharajna, wa’alallahi rabbina tawakkalna.

Translation: O Allah! I ask Thee for good both when entering and when going out; in the name of Allah we have entered, and in the name of Allah we have gone out, and in Allah our Lord do we trust.

Dua For Wearing New Clothes

Transliteration: Alhamdulillah-hil lazee kasani ma’owari bihi aurati wa atajammalu bihi fi hayati.

Translation: Allah praise is due to Allah who clothed me with what I may cover my `Awrah and what I may beautify myself with in my life.

Dua For Wearing Clothes 

.الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي كَسَاني هذا الثَّوبَ وَ رَزَقْنِيهِ مِنْ غَيْرِ حَوْلٍ مِّنِي وَلَا قُوَّةٍ

Transliteration: Alhamdulillah-hil lazee kasani hazas sauba wa razaqnihi min ghairi hawlim minni wala quwwah.

Translation: Praise be to Allah Who has clothed me with this and provided me with it through no might and power on my part

Dua When looking The Mirror 

.اللَّهُمَّ أَنْتَ حَسَّنْتَ خَلْقِي فَحَسِّنْ خُلُقِي

Transliteration: Allahumma anta hassanta khalqi fahassin khuluqi.

Translation: O Allah, just as You have made my external features beautiful, make my character beautiful as well.

Dua When You Sneeze

When you sneeze, then say:

الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ‏.‏

Transliteration: Alhamdulillah.

Translation: Praise be to Allah.

And the listener says in response:

.يَرْحَمُكَ اللَّهُ

Transliteration: Yarhamu kal lahu.

Translation: May Allah have mercy upon you.

Then you should say:

 .يَهْدِيكُمُ اللَّهُ وَيُصْلِحُ بَالَكُمْ

Transliteration: Yahdikumul lahu wa yus lihu balakum

Translation: May Allah guide you and put your affairs in order.

Dua When Sending Someone Away

.أَسْتَوْدِعُ اللّٰهَ دِيْنَكَ وَأَمَانَتَكَ وَخَوَاتِيْمَ عَمَلِكَ

Astawdi’ullaha deenaka wa amanataka wa khawateema amalik.

I place your religion, your faithfulness and the ends of your deeds in the trust of Allah.(Tirmidhi).

Dua For Getting On A Vehicle

.سُبْحَنَ الَّذِي سَخَّرَ لَنَا هُذَا وَمَا كُنَّا لَهُ مُقْرِنِينَ وَإِنَّا إِلَى رَبَّنَا مُنْقَلِبُونَ

Subhanal lazee sakhkhara lana haza wa maa kunna lahu muqrineen. Wa inna ilaa Rabbina lamun qaliboon

Glory to Him who has brought this [vehicle] under our control, though we were unable to control it [ourselves], and indeed, to Our Lord we will surely return.

Dua When Returning From A Journey

.آئِبُونَ تَائِبُونَ عَابِدُونَ لِرَبِّنَا حَامِدُونَ

Aa’ibuna taa’ibuna abiduna lirabbina haamidoon.

We are returning, we repent to Allah, we worship Allah, we glorify only Allah.

Dua If Someone Does Good For You

.جَزَاكَ اللهُ خَيْرًا

Jazakallahu khairan.

May Allah reward you better.

Dua At The End Of A Gathering

.سُبْحٰنَ اللهِ وَبِحَمْدِهِ سُبْحـانَكَ اللّهُـمَّ وَبِحَمدِك أَشْهَـدُ أَنْ لا إِلهَ إِلاّ أَنْتَ أَسْتَغْفِرُكَ وَأَتوبُ إِلَـيْك

Subhanallahi wa bihamdihi Subhanak allahumma wa bihamdika, ash-hadu allaailaha illaa anta astaghfiruka wa atoobu ilayk

Glory be to Allah and Praise Him glory is to You, O Allah, and praise is to You. I bear witness that there is none worthy of worship but You. I seek Your forgiveness and repent to You.

Dua For Sighting The Crescent Moon

.اللَّهُمَّ أَهْلِلْهُ عَلَيْنَا بِالْيُمْنِ وَالإِيمَانِ وَالسَّلاَمَةِ وَالإِسْلاَمِ رَبِّي وَرَبُّكَ اللَّهُ

Allahumma ahillahu alayna bilyumni waliman wassalamati walislam, rabbi wa rabbukallah.

O Allah, bring it over us with blessing and faith, and security and Islam. My Lord and your Lord is Allah. (Tirmidhi: 3451)

Dua When Entering The Market

بِسْمِ اللهِ اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ خَيْرَ هُذِهِ السُّوقِ وَخَيْرَ مَا فِيهَا وَاعُوذُبِكَ مِنْ شَرِّهَا وَ شَرِّ مَا فِيهَا اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ أَنْ أَصِيبَ فِيهَا يَمِينًا فَاجِرَةً أَوْ صَفْقَةً خَاسِرَةً

Bismillahi allahumma inni as’aluka khaira haazihis souqi wa khaira ma fiha wa a’ozubika min sharriha wa sharri ma fiha allahumma inni a’uzubika an aseeba fiha yamina fajiratan aw safqatan khasiratan.

In the name of God. O God, I ask Thee for the good of this market and the good of what it contains, and I seek refuge in Thee from its evil and the evil of what it contains. O God, I seek refuge in Thee lest I get a bad bargain in it.

Dua When You See Someone Laughing

.أَضْحَكَ اللَّهُ سِنَّكَ

Azha kallahu sinnak.

Allah keep you laughing.

 Dua When Bad Thoughts Come

.اَعُوْذُ بِاللَّهِ مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ الرَّحِيمِ آمَنْتُ بِاللَّهِ وَرُسُلِهِ

A’ozu Billaahi minash shaitanir rajeem amantu billahi wa rusulihi.

I seek the protection of Allah from the accursed devil. I believe in Allah and His messengers.

Dua When you Angry

.اَللَّهُمَّ أَذْهِبْ غَيْظَ قَلْبِي

Allahumma azhib gayza qalbi.

Oh Allah, remove anger from my heart.

Dua When Raining

.اَللَّهُمَّ صَيِّبًا نَافِعًا

Allahumma sayyiban nafi’a.

O Allah, make it a beneficial rain.

Dua To Avoid Any Sudden Calamity

Read this dua three times in the morning and night.

.بِسْمِ اللهِ الَّذِي لَا يَضُرُّ مَعَ اسْمِهِ شَيْءٌ فِي الأَرْضِ وَلَا فِي السَّمَاءِ وَهُوَ السَّمِيعُ الْعَلِيمُ

bismillaahil lazee laa yazurru ma’asmihi shai’un filarzi wa laa fis samaa’i wa huwas samee ul aleem.

In the name of Allah, by whose name nothing can cause harm neither on earth nor in the heaven and He is The All- Hearing, The All-Knowing.
