WHAT IS TAJWEED

MEANINGS OF THE WORD TAJWEED:

The word Tajweed comes from the Arabic word “Jawadda” which means beautify and improve.

THE TERMINOLOGICAL MEANING OF TAJWEED:

Refers to the knowledge through which the Holy Quran is recited in such a way. That every letter is recited with the correct pronunciation and its right makhraj.

In the Qur’an, Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’ala says ” وَرَتِّلِ الْقُرْاٰنَ تَرْتِيِلًا “. And recite the Qur’an clearly with tartil (in a distinct and measured tone).

REAL MEANING OF TAJWEED
